Ascension of the Lord and 7th Sunday in Easter Can you believe that we are almost out of this beautiful Easter Season? I can’t believe how fast it flew by. But it did.
6th Sunday in Easter and Mother’s Day What a beautiful week we’ve had. It’s been a real Spring week (although my allergies were not happy!) with all the beauty that Spring holds....
5th Sunday in Easter It feels like only last week when we were Halleluia-ing, washing feet, grieving death, and receiving the Light of the World as Jesus our Savior brought us out of the tomb with Him!...
Juneteenth (short for “June Nineteenth”) marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed. The troops’ arrival came a full two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth honors the end to slavery in the United States and is considered the longest-running African American holiday. On June 17, 2021, it officially became a federal holiday.

We, the Vincentians from St Vincent de Paul-Holy Name of Mary Conference (SVdP-HNM), want to say THANK YOU! The past year has been a truly trying time for all of us. We are so grateful to have such an amazing parish supporting us with our mission to help the less fortunate members of our community.
Their mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who can make our world a better place. Our community is blessed to have these girls give of their time and treasure to brighten the lives of all our brothers and sisters in need.
