“Come one come all” to our next Bible Study. We pray that everyone has a wonderfully blessed Easter Season full of God’s wondrous Grace.
We will explore the Paul Preparing God’s People for our next session. The writings of St. Paul have provided teaching, insight, and guidance to Christians from the church's earliest days right up to our own. A missionary, theologian, and martyr, he was at all times a pastor to the early Christian communities scattered throughout the Roman Empire. By exploring three passages from his letters (1 Thess. 1:2-10; 1 Cor. 12:12-31; Gal 5:13-16) we will discover that
God's people now still need his encouragement and instruction. We invite you all to join us for this 6 week session as we unpack key Scripture passages, exploring the activity of the Spirit at creation, within Israel, in the ministry of Jesus and the early church, and at the end of time. We will also explore the role of the Holy Spirit in our personal and spiritual lives. This should prove to be a very enlightening experience.
Our session will meet from August 2 through September6, 2023
We meet on Wednesdays in the Damien room. There are two sessions to choose from; Mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 am and Evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
Please mark your calendars and plan to join us. We look forward to seeing you then.... Thank you in advance.
Yours in Christ, Deacon Al & Rita Austin
