The journey through grief is never easy. Families and friends affected by a sudden and violent death is especially traumatic and complicated. There is never a “getting over it.” However, with help and support of others, you can begin to learn to live with what has happened. Understanding and expressing the many emotions and feelings of grief can help survivors, and over time, with mourning and grieving, come to adjust to this great loss. Our parish is pleased to offer a monthly grief support group for those impacted by violent death through an accident, suicide, homicide, drunk driving or domestic violence.
