With deep love and reverence for the Holy Eucharist, the Altar Linen Ministry cares for the sacred linens. Training is provided on how to care for these special linens that contain the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. This ministry is made up of teams of who, behind the scenes in their own homes, reverently launder and care for the purificators and corporals used on the altar at Mass as well as the albs worn by the Altar Servers. 
Altar Servers are young people who serve God and the parish community by assisting the priests at the celebration of the Eucharist on Sundays, holy days, weddings, funerals and other parish celebrations. Boys and girls may begin serving when they have received First Eucharist and are 11 years old. Decorate and prepare the church for liturgy in keeping with the liturgical season. 
A/V Ministry enhances the sights and sounds of our liturgical experience at Mass through the use of the projection, audio and computer equipment.
Eucharistic Ministers consider it a privilege and honor to serve Holy Communion at daily and weekly Mass as well as at special Liturgical Celebrations. Training is held twice a year.Lectors are men and women who proclaim the Word of God to the assembly at Sunday and holy day liturgies. There is special training a mentoring process for this ministry. The Formation and Education Commission is focused on formation that inspires and brings awareness to the importance of our faith in our everyday lives. RCIA is the journey of those inquiring into being received into the Catholic Church through the initiation process of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. This process provides an opportunity for adults to learn about the faith in a way that models the early church. If an individual wishes to explore the Catholic Church, or wishes to complete their Initiation into the Church by receiving the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation, they are invited to journey in their faith along with the RCIA team and others in a similar position. This is an ongoing process.

Adult Confirmation is for those 18 years or over who have been baptized and received First Eucharist but have not received the

EDGE is an upbeat middle school ministry that welcomes all 6th, 7th and 8th grade youth to learn more about their faith and grow in their relationship with God. We strive to meet the catechetical, spiritual, social, and emotional needs of our youth by pointing them to the Sacraments, engaging them in truthful teachings, and developing mentoring relationships.

Building a foundation of faith, in partnership with parents, from which our children and families can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and their knowledge of the Roman Catholic Church.
Programs include:- Sacrament Preparation – a two year program preparing baptized elementary children for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion, classes meet on various days throughout the school year
- Vacation Bible School – children ages 4 through 5th grade spend one week each summer exploring what it means to follow Jesus and how to look for evidence of God all around through memorable Bible-learning activities, play and song.
- Preschool and Kindergarten Sunday School – Children ages 3 to Kindergarten grow in relationship with Jesus through song, play and Bible stories. Meets Sundays during the 10am Mass
- Special Needs – faith formation designed to help children with special needs and their families to grow in the relationship with Jesus Christ, deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith, and prepare for the reception of sacraments.
- RCIA adapted for children – preparing unbaptized elementary, middle and high school students for the Sacraments of Initiation. Opportunity to come together in a small group to learn more about the Catholic faith in preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation)

Holy Name of Mary’s two-year confirmation journey focuses on dynamic, engaging catechesis and preparation of each young person to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Through group discussion, prayer and evangelization, retreats, community outreach, and Life Teen involvement, each young person is inspired and made ready to deepen their baptismal gifts and be fully received into the Church as active participants in their faith.

Restorative Justice/Detention Ministry
Camp Afflerbaugh, Camp Paige, and Camp Rocky We bring the presence of God and His unconditional love to the young men of the camps, not with the idea that we change the minors, but with the idea that we are privileged to serve. Ministry includes weekly communion service, Sacrament preparation, and Bible Study. The young men are from 14 to 18 years old and are often abandoned, neglected or sometimes forgotten. Barbara’s Blankets
It is the vision of this ministry to provide a sense of nurturing and tending, and impart to the seniors of the parish that they continue to matter and be useful, having the gift of the “wisdom” of the later years, they are called to live a new life of creative loving in their later years. It is also the purpose of the ministry to address and allay the common afflictions of the seniors and elderly, the boredom, the sense of isolation and loneliness, and the sense of uselessness by holding regular fellowship and other social interactions, and by promoting their participation in parish life and school life.
This ministry honors the memory of St. Vincent de Paul member Barbara Cafferty. Barbara served the Lord in many ways including
making blankets all year to help bring warmth to our needy brothers and sisters. All are welcome to participate in this ministry, no special skills are needed.
Celebration of Life Ministry
Holy Name of Mary Community strives to support you in different ways throughout the different and difficult time of grief. After your funeral or memorial mass here at the church, we are pleased to offer lunch receptions on Mondays and Wednesdays. As part of this ministry, through the help of volunteers, they will assist in the setting up of the hall with the centerpieces, food and drinks, serving in the buffet line, and clean up. Members of this ministry are compassionate and kind, they are a caring presence as you continue to remember, honor, grieve and mourn your loved one. This time is meant for you to gather in gratitude with friends and family in fellowship; to share, reminisce and remember the life you shared with the deceased.

Filipino Catholics of Holy Name of Mary

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Bringing people together to use their time and talent to crochet and knit shawls, lap blankets, baby blankets, hats and scarves to spread our Lord’s message of love, comfort, peace and compassion. Everything we create begins and ends with prayer for the recipient. We welcome anyone who enjoys crocheting and knitting whether you are slow or fast. If you don’t know how to crochet or knit, we have wonderful loving members who can teach you.

Sewing Ministry
The HNM Sewing Ministry sows God’s love through sewing. In the past this ministry has contributed their talents by making costumes for Holy Thursday, Baptismal gowns for Easter Vigil, aprons for Martha Ministry, pillow case dresses for Africa and gift items for our gift shop. The projects are simple to sew and patterns for each project are available to those doing the sewing. Sewing is usually done individually in your own homes, although small projects have been sewn at church.
