Compasíon Connexion Ministry (Mental Health Ministry)
This ministry offers support in both English and Spanish for those who suffer from or are touched by mental health challenges and illness in our parish. We provide hope, healing, support and compassion through prayer, accompaniment, and human connection. We do not take on the role of health professional but rather as lay ministers serving fellow parishioners experiencing mental health challenges, providing referrals, and parish-wide education on mental health

When a Loved One Dies By Suicide
We invite you to explore the film series, based on the book, When A Loved One Dies by Suicide: Comfort, Hope, and Healing for Grieving Catholics.
In this resource, you will hear from fellow Catholics—both clergy/religious and laity—as they share about their loved ones, their journey with grief, and the comfort and hope they have found in faith, community, and the Church.

Suicide Prevention and Awareness
If you recognize someone struggling, you can support them. Talk to them, pray with them, ask them if they’ve thought about suicide, and suggest they reach out for professional help. There is hope and healing in Christ, who loves each of us beyond measure. And we can be His hands and feet to our brothers and sisters with mental illness.
If you or someone you know is facing suicidal thoughts,
Call 1-800-273-TALK (24-hour hotline)

Click to Pray
The mission of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network is to pray and act upon the challenges of humanity and the mission of the Church identified by the Pope in his monthly prayer intentions.
Click To Pray is a digital community of prayer where you can share the intentions of the Holy Father and pray together with others. The community builds bridges between generations, where we all pray as one.
The Association of Catholic Mental Health Ministers
The Association of Catholic Mental Health Ministers (CMHM) is a Lay Association of the Christian Faithful whose members are called to be a healing presence in the lives of people with mental illness. Members of the CMHM see Christ in those who live with a mental illness.
Members practice a ministry of service and presence; like the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37), they do not look the other way or walk past those living with a mental illness but instead pour the oil and wine of the Gospel into their lives. Members walk with people living with a mental illness to help them find the pastoral support and services that they need.
We are inspired by Saint Pope John Paul II who wrote: “Christ took all human suffering on himself; even mental illness . . . whoever suffers from mental illness "always" bears God's image and likeness in himself, as does every human being. In addition, he "always" has the inalienable right not only to be considered as an image of God and therefore as a person, but also to be treated as such.”
