Sacramental Preparation for Persons with Special Needs

Sacrament preparation for children (Gr. 1 and up) with disabilities.

For Grades 1 and up

For young people with moderate to severe special needs, Holy Name of Mary offers a Sunday program to help each child learn about their faith in the way that they learn best. Each session includes large group time and small breakout groups according to learning needs. Parents are encouraged to accompany their child to the large group time. Our Special Needs program offers preparation for the sacraments of Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation.

Program Fees

Year 1 - $120 per Child
Year 2 - $140 per Child

We follow the Archdiocesan guideline that every child/teen participates in two years of a faith formation program prior to the celebration of sacraments.

To register, parents need to submit a Baptismal Certificate for youth preparing to receive their First Holy Communion OR a Birth Certificate for unbaptized youth preparing for full initiation (Baptism, Communion, Confirmation).
